A week of high-quality skiing in one of Switzerland's most iconic alpine destinations. Engelberg is renowned for its reliable snow, dramatic scenery and some of the finest lift-accessed off-piste skiing in the Alps.
Based in the historic mountain town of Engelberg, you'll spend six days skiing with experienced IFMGA Mountain Guides and BASI Ski Teachers, exploring classic off-piste descents, ski touring objectives and the famous Engelberg "Big 5".
With two groups of four skiers, each led by a Guide and Ski Teacher, the week offers a flexible and supportive approach, combining expert coaching with unforgettable skiing in spectacular alpine terrain.

A six-day guided skiing adventure based in Engelberg, Switzerland, combining world-class off-piste skiing, expert coaching and classic ski touring objectives. Ski some of Engelberg's most famous descents, including routes from the legendary "Big 5", while enjoying small group sizes, comfortable hotel accommodation and spectacular alpine scenery throughout the week.

Shakedown
Find our ‘ski legs’, get comfortable with our group, practice use of safety equipment, and size up the off piste terrain

Sample Itinerary

Suggested Itinerary: Tick off the Engelberg “Big 5”!
Day 1- explore the lift system, equipment check, brush up off piste ski technique. Enjoy a wild side look at the Upper Galti
Day 2 - ski the Steintalli and the Sulz off piste runs, lots of variation - lots of fun in impressive scenery!
Day 3 - ski the epic Laub; 1000m of off piste descent off the lifts!
Day 4 - ski tour up to Schafberg 2523m offering incredible views. (700m - 3hrs ascent) great west facing descent.
Day 5 - skin up through wild alpine terrain to the stunning Wendenlücke; with a 1600m north facing descent back to the lifts.
Day 6 - ski the mighty Galtiberg (maybe even from a skin to the summit of Titlis 3200m) 2200m of wild steep off piste skiing!

Participant Requirements
Fitness
You should have a basic level of fitness and be able to walk uphill for several hours.
Ski Level
You can ski comfortably on most on piste terrain. We welcome both beginners and more experienced off piste skiers.
Equipment
Skis and boots suitable for touring are required. If you're aiming for more technical objectives, you may also need a harness, crampons and ice axe.
