*Not included: Travel to and from the course start point, Hire of any personal technical equipment, Valley accommodation, Lunches (available at mountain huts or local supermarkets), Evening meals, Uplift costs (cable cars and chairlifts), Drinks at the hotel and in mountain huts, Alpine rescue insurance.
Participant Requirements
Fitness
Fitness Level 2 and above
Capable of full days in the mountains carrying a pack.
Experience Level
Previous experience with crampons, ice axe, or scrambling is helpful but not essential. You should be confident moving in mountainous terrain for several hours per day.
Equipment
Mountaineering clothing boots, harness, helmet, and a rucksack. Technical equipment such as crampons and ice axe can be hired.
